Wrestlemania 32 - Recap

Match 1 - Ryback v Kalisto(C)  (US Championship)
Not much too this match, just the bully against the underdog with the underdog getting the win.
Winner: Kalisto

Match 2 - Total Divas v B.A.D. & Blonde
Firstly, why the fuck was Eva Marie in the match?
Secondly, Paige is better than a kick off match in the pre-show
Thirdly, what was Lana wearing in her first match?
Winner: Total Divas

New Women's Championship revealed as a replacement for the Divas Championship

Match 3 - The Usos v Dudley Boyz
Third match of the pre-show. The Usos got the win and the Dudley's attack them after the match and try to put them through a table, However Usos counter and put both Dudley's through a table instead.
Winner: The Usos

Wrestlemania Starts

Match 4 - Ladder match - Kevin Owens(C), Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Stardust, Zack Ryder, The Miz and Sin Cara (Intercontinental Champion)
Had some great spots with Sin Cara falling off a ladder putting Stardust through another ladder. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens finally having a fight after what happened back in NXT. And then after everything, no one is in the ring but The Miz, he climbs the ladder sits at the top and looks around at the crowd as the boos come flooding in, but then, just as he goes to reach for the belt, Ryder comes running in and pushs the Miz from behind, grabbing the belt and letting the Boos become Woos!
Winner: Zack Ryder and new champion

Match 5 - Chris Jericho v AJ Styles
As much as I didn't want it to happen, Jericho hit some fantastic codebreakers in the match, including the one that put AJ away by hitting the move mid-air as AJ jumps from the ropes.
Winner: Chris Jericho

Match 6 - The New Day(C) v The League of Nations (non-title match)
Seeing The New Day come out of a giant box of cereal dressed in Dragon Ball Z armour is surprisingly entertaining. However, the match wasn't as great as the entrances with The Lads, oh, sorry, the League of Nations picking up the win.
Bad News Barrett picks up the mic and starts saying how much better they are than any 3 men in the WWE. Then Shawn Michaels music hits and he is in his ring gear, and the crowd are going crazy, then Mick Foley comes out, in his ring gear and if the crowd aren't dead yet, the next one really did kill them with excitement as Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out and then all three men walk down the ramp and beat the crap out of the Nation. Then if it couldn't get any better, The New Day come back into the ring and teach the Legends how to dance. Shawn pulls off a twerk and Mick Foley does some kind of dance, but then when it comes to Steve Austins dance, he starts to, before giving a stone cold stunner to the New Day.
Winner: League of Nations

Match 7 - Dean Ambros v Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman
"The Ambros Asylum was relocated to Suplex City"
It was fairly one sided unless Dean had a weapon to hand but in the end, everyone knew what would happen, Brock shows why hes the beast.
Winner: Brock Lesnar

Match 8 - Charlotte( C - Previous Divas Champion), Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks (First Women's Champion)
I loved this match, I was a tiny bit disappointed with the victor, but it was still a great match, the matched proved what Lita said previously about the Divas division, how they aren't Divas. They're Superstars. And they proved why all three of them should be the new women's champion. However with Sasha being held outside the ring by Ric Flair, Charlotte has Becky in the figure-8 and she is defenceless and has to tap out. However even though she lost the match, Becky still has the best part of the night as she jumps over the top rope and takes out Ric Flair.
Winner: Charlotte and first Women's Champion

Match 9 - Undertaker v Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match
Holy Shit!
The 46 year old man jumped from the top of the cell and put himself through an announce table and still told the Undertaker to bring it. Shane McMahon has balls, and I hope this introduced Shane McMahon to a whole new generation who never knew how freaking bad-ass Shane was back in the attitude era. Because most superstars wouldn't do that now, let alone Legends that are almost 50 years old. This match was about Legacy and they sure as hell left a Legacy that night, with Undertaker adding another victim to his Wrestlemania list to go 23-1 and Shane McMahon leaving a legacy in showing how much he's still willing to do even though he's been absent for 7 years.
Winner: The Undertaker

Match 10 - Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
With surprises such as Shaquille O'Neal, Diamond Dallas Page and Tatanka, the biggest surprise was the winner. NXT superstar Baron Corbin. In his first WWE match (that isn't WWE NXT) he wins and its at Wrestlemania, and he has to defeat 19 other men to get this win. I hope this is the start of big things for him in the WWE and I'm glad he was the winner.
Winner: Baron Corbin

The Rock makes the announcement that this was the Wrestlemania new record  for attendance. And before he gets to leave, the Wyatt family come out and make threats against the Rock, which then leaves room for:
Match 11 - Rock v Eric Rowan
The Rock Rock Bottoms Eric Rowan and pins him in 6 seconds to break the record for quickest match at Wrestlemania in history.
Winner: The Rock
But its not over for The Rock, The Wyatt family all surround the Rock and prepare to attack him, but then the music starts playing of JOHN CENA. (DU DU DU DUUUU). Who then helps The Rock take them out.

Match 12 - Triple H (C)v Roman Reigns (WWE Championship)
BOOOOO! BOOOOOO! BOOOOOO!
Whenever Roman had the upper hand: BOOOOO!
Whenever Roman did something good: BOOOO!
Its getting to the point where I just feel sorry for him, Roman is a good superstar, but the fans just don't want him in the title picture and its ruining his career because the WWE are clearly pushing him too much. But in the end, Roman Reigns gets the win, surprise, he was then booed out of the arena and that was how Wrestlemania 32 ended.
Winner: Roman Reigns and new WWE Champion.

The Lovely Bones - Movie Review

I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting much from this film at all. I watched the trailer moments before I watched the film so I got a fair idea of what the film would be about, and the trailer did catch my attention.

So I sat down to start watching it, and the first thing I heard was narration. Now, narration isn't always that bad, however, I'm a bit iffy about it. So the film starts with a young girl who is the main character of the film, talking about death, and how she died. How she loved someone and how this murderer had ruined everything.
Now there's really not much I can say about the film without spoiling it, but the acting was pretty good, the story telling was incredible in my opinion and if a film ever makes you think 'WOW' or 'Holy Crap' then it's done a good job, because it does a couple of times within the first half of the film.

If you haven't seen it before, then make sure you at least go and check it out, if you have seen it before, then hopefully you understand why I felt like this about this film.

The film to me is a 7/10 as there was the odd moment where you did want it to just hurry up a bit, and it did feel like one or two scenes were just filler scenes. But a part from that, I did really enjoy the film.

Pan - Movie Review

I've never hyped myself up for a movie more than Pan. I saw the trailer the day it came out and watched every trailer since then. Well now I've had my chance to watch it... And well...

The best part of the movie was the credits. The music is catchy... That's about it. The animation and graphical affects were alright I guess. And some parts of the story weren't too bad. However the amount of plot holes made me want to cry, the relationship between Hook and Tiger lily, and Hook and Pan, and Pan and Tiger Lily, and all of them with Blackbeard was poor. The best character in it was Smeeh, but that was only in the first half of the movie, so anything past that first half for him was garbage.

When I sat down and started watching it, I was disappointed by the beginning, but I sat through it anyway, in hopes that the second half would be phenomenal... And I can confirm it really wasn't. Nothing in the film made any sense. Nothing was ever explored or explained. Nothing was ever adopted on to get the main characters into their positions before we get to the Peter Pan that everyone knows where it is Pan vs Hook. There was none of that.

Hooks accent... Hooks freaking accent... Oh my god. It sounded so fake it was painful. I hate writing this review, but I can honestly say I don't think I've been more disappointed in the film... Whoever made the trailers deserves the biggest pay rise ever, because the trailers did look amazing, the trailer soundtrack was amazing. The movie did not look amazing, the soundtrack was also not amazing...

That's another thing, WHY WAS THE FILM A MUSICAL?!
I didn't sit down to watch this so I could watch Blackbeard sing songs that hadn't been invented yet. Because I think three songs were in this film and every time I heard one, I was more tempted to turn it off.

Like I said, the graphics were good, the story telling wasn't that bad and costume design was also pretty good and sets and stuff. But the film as a whole makes me final thoughts

Controversy at The Oscars

Whats your take on the Controversy at The Oscars?

Celebrities left right and center having issues with The Oscars this year and it all started when people noticed the lack of colored actors and actresses up for nomination for an Oscar.

Concussion actor, Will Smith, has had plenty to say on the matter, how not only does he feel he deserves to be a nominee, but how this is a disgrace on the academy and how he feels its making America look bad.

Will Smith wasn't the only member of the family to comment either. His wife, Jada Pinkett Smith posted this video on her Facebook with how she felt:

https://www.facebook.com/jada/videos/10153983404106320/

Spike Lee was certainly not happy about the situation, he announced he wouldn't even attend the Oscars, he also said "How is it possible for the 2nd consecutive year all 20 contenders under the actor category are white?" he writes. "And lets not even get to the other branches. 40 white actors in 2 years and no flava at all. We can't even act?! WTF!!"

Even Sir Ian Mckellen had this to say "It's not only blacks who've been disregarded by the film industry. It used to be women, it's certainly gay people to this day."

George Clooney said this in an interview with Variety, the industry was "moving in the wrong direction" and that many nominations had been "left on the table."
"If you think back 10 years ago, the Academy was doing a better job," he said. "Think about how many more African Americans were nominated. I would also make the argument, I don't think it's a problem of who you're picking as much as it is: How many options are available to minorities in film, particularly in quality films?"

Not all actors have cared so much about the current situation:

Ice Cube summed up the entire situation in just one line, it would be like "crying about not having enough icing on your cake."
He also followed up by saying "We don't do movies for the industry, we do movies for the fans, for the people."

Michael Caine simply said you "can't vote for an actor because he's black."
"You can't just say, 'Oh I'm gonna vote for him, he's not very good, but he's black' ... you've got to give a good performance."
